Last week Jackson went on his first bike ride! Slate got home and wanted to go get a Slurpee but wasn't allowed to go by himself. Since she was leaving and I don't have a car during the day he had nobody to take him. I told him I'd walk up there with him if he bought me one. Well, walking wasn't good enough for him. So he decided to hook up the bike trailer and wait for Juston to get home. (Ha - good thing he didn't realize we'd have a car by then) When Juston got home we strapped Jackson in tight, put lots of pillows and blankets around him, made sure he was all bundled up and went on our way. He slept the whole way actually. We went up to Albertson's and got some groceries and then went to 7-11. It was a pretty hard bike ride on the way up - but fun on the way back. Slate put my slurpee in his drink holder on his bike for the ride back. Funny story about that - when we were almost home Juston wondered what time it was. Slate being the smart person he is decided he should hold his slurpee and get out his iPod at the same time. Well, needless to say he turned and went straight into our neighbors rocks and crashed. It was pretty dang funny. But the lid to my slurpee got all smashed in! Rude! Haha
