The day before we left for Seattle we went to the Celebration of Lights down at the Speedway. We drove down in a few cars and then all piled into the back of Darci and Devin's truck. Jackson got to ride in the front with Devin - but decided to scream almost the whole time. So I leaned through the window to feed him a bottle - it was great. Ha.
Even though it was freezing and windy we had a lot of fun. Darci's girls were so excited about all of the lights and riding in the back of the truck. It made me excited for when Jackson will be excited about all of that too. Kids are so much fun :)
Oh - also of note - we saw a high speed police chase as we were driving through the lights. We saw it from a distance and slowed down to watch it thinking it was SO COOL! Well, then we realized they kept driving in the same pattern. Turns out they were practicing on one of the tracks. Ha.
