hmmm....

i feel like there was more i was going to blog about. but at the moment i cant remember what that was. sorry. i think I've left you PLENTY to read and comment on though! :)

since we got back from the beach we have:
  • gone to a few wedding receptions. its fun to see others receptions now that ours is over.
  • tried to get lots of appointments for windows. we've only gotten 4 though.
  • hung out with our friends megan and justin and watched live free or die hard in their backyard on their movie screen.
  • tried to figure out why the basement smells so bad. and tried to light candles to put around since i only have one warmer....but we set off the fire alarms instead.
  • watched lots of tv :)
  • went to our ward, where we got to go to our callings again. I love being in nursery. its always a crazy time in there.
  • been offered to join some sort of multi level business 3 times. do we have big targets on our foreheads for this or something?

Also on Saturday we decided to just take a day to hang out. Except we couldn't think of anything to do. We drove around and looked at cool houses, hoping that maybe we will get some appointments in those neighborhoods. I also suggested we go walk through the model homes in neighborhoods...but apparently they don't have those here. Weird. After feeling really bored and sad we couldn't think of anything to do I had a grand idea to go on a picnic. We had all the time in the world so why not go somewhere pretty? We scrounged up some food we already had at home so we didn't have to spend money, which ended up being really tasty. Then we drove for like 2 hours up the mountain trying to find a secluded spot along the river. That's hard to do. We finally ended up just pulling off to the side of the road and putting the blanket on the ground and eating right there. We were so hungry! But we had found a place a ways back that would be cool to hang out at but there were people there...so we decided to go back. By the time we got back everyone was gone. There was a little hot springs pool (which was really gross...) so we stuck our feet in there for a while. Then Juston taught me how to skip rocks across the river. That was pretty fun. He kept trying to skip rocks all the way to the other side. (I was just happy if mine skipped at all lol) Then we just laid out our blankets and read until it got dark next to the river. (which is like 10:30 here....) It ended up being a really fun, relaxing night away together.
