New Years Eve

New Years this year was a LOT of fun.  We weren't really sure what we were going to do until about the day before.  We stayed last year but because we don't really have a lot of friends there it was kind of a bust.  So we debated coming back up here, going to Utah, or staying home.  We had decided to go to Utah because the rest of my family was going, but everyone got sick.  So we decided to stay in Vegas with my family.  Jamen and my dad went up to Salt Lake still so they could snowmobile.  So New Years Eve was mostly us, Tevin, Slate, and my mom.  Darci and her girls came over for a little while and Dakota went to the dance.

When Darci and Devin came over we played Minute to Win It games, which were hilarious! We played boys against girls.  So it was Darci, me, and my mom on a team and Tevin and Juston on a team.  (Slate was taking a nap)

After we played the games Darci and Devin went home so the rest of us played the Wii.  We had a bowling tournament that my mom won.  We also played Wii Resort and Dancing with the Stars all night.  At midnight we turned on the TV (through the internet haha) and did the countdown with Sparkling Cider.  Then we ran out and banged pots and pans and watched some illegal fireworks.

It was a really fun night and I am very glad we stayed for it!

Juston and I also had to put Vaseline on our nose to transfer cotton balls from one bowl to the other.  Don't let the pictures deceive you, I won.  Juston just used his hands at the end!
