Learned Something Tonight

Tonight I was reading an article in the Friend.  At the end of the articles it defines words kids might not understand.  In this article they defined the word "gospel."   I guess I haven't ever really thought about what that word actually means as a word.  It means "good news."  So really, it is the "good news" of Jesus Christ.  I don't know why I thought that was so cool, but it really is.  We are learning the good news of Jesus Christ.  That is almost exactly what we were teaching our Primary kids today.  The teachings of Christ are treasures.  Isn't good news usually something to be treasured?  I just thought that was so cool.  The good news of Jesus Christ.
