Today, All of Juston's Dreams Came True

Well, maybe not ALL of his dreams.  But a pretty giant dream did come true.  He was given (yes given, meaning for free) a drum set.  He has talked about wanting one since before we got married.  I honestly didn't think it was going to be something we felt like we could afford or have room for.  There are so many other things that kind of money can go towards for us!

Here is the basic story - He is always really nice to people at work, talking to them, getting to know them, etc. etc.  So one day he got on the topic of drums with one of the patients.  She told him they had a drum set they would be willing to sell (for very cheap) but we still decided it wasn't worth it to us at this point in our lives. (hello, we are dirt poor, trying to buy a house, and living in a tiny bedroom)  Well, today she called Juston at work and told him they were sick of it taking up room and just wanted to get rid of it.  They just wanted to give it to him! AND they would deliver it for us.  They came and set it up tonight and he is more than excited.  Who knew a drum set could get him to clean up our stuff in the garage. Ha.

I am excited for him.  He really has talked about this so much!

In other news, I am attempting to get Jackson on a better sleep schedule.  We'll see how it goes.  So far today it has been great.  However, I just tried to get him to sleep (and he was) but is now playing in his crib.  We'll see if he falls back to sleep or not.....

Oh, and in OTHER news....we should find out about the house tomorrow.  Haven't we heard that before?? Ugh.
