Today was a good, busy day. I got up and went dress shopping with my mom, Dakota, and her friends for Dakota's prom dress. That was fun - minus the black jeep with no air conditioning in 96 degree weather. I had to get dropped off a little bit early so we could go look at more houses. We were only able to look at two today. We liked them, but didn't LOVE them. So we will continue waiting to find out about our offer and looking at other options.
The best part of the day was tonight though. We got to go on a date for our anniversary! We went to Jake Bleazard's open house. Then we went to P.F. Changs!! (thank you gift card!) So good!! Except, two funny things. One, we forgot to order chow mein. HOW DO YOU FORGET THAT!?!?! Two, our "dessert" that came with our meal was about two bites worth. Ha. So since we saved room for dessert we decided to get frozen yogurt after. Hahaha.
It was just really nice to have a night out together, being able to talk, and not worry about Jackson. It was much needed.
Today was one of those days that aren't super exciting, but just really good. I love these kinds of days.
